Been working this week with artist Eloise Hawser on a sound work that premiered yesterday at An Evening of Performances @DRAF_london, exploring the sounds of paparazzi. The kind of frenetic rhythms a large group of camera shutters produces reminded me of the Balinese dance, Kecak, which has the most amazing rhythms in it… even this rendition for tourists sounds great.. and is accompanied by a fair amount of shutter noises itself!


Learning all about making kites this morning. I have this obsession with flying microphones (next week-end)
