Sound for Self-Shooters is a 2-day workshop suitable for self-shooting filmmakers at any level, from complete beginners to experienced camera operators.
Now running for over 5 years, I created the course to help independent filmmakers and shooting DPs to deal with the increasing demands expected of them out in the field, and to help them fill the gaps in their knowledge of sound principles and equipment, but -most importantly- to develop and hone their listening skills.
Clients include Open City Docs School, Four Corners, Al Jazeera, no.w.here, Daisybeck Studios, University College London and Brunel University.
I also teach sound on the Open City Docs Summer School, and have been a visiting lecturer at UCL and Brunel University on various BA and MA courses.
